1. Nicki Minaj speaking on Gender Inequality in the Music Industry
Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj took some time to shed light on Gender Inequality.
I can totally see where Nicki is coming from and agree with everything she’s saying. And major props to Nicki for even speaking on the subject. We live in a man’s world and that’s something I think we all should be aware of. Many times we don’t realize how many double-standards exist between men and women. I have the perfect example as a DJ. Often times, my skill-level comes second to how I look! Most times it's hard to be taken seriously as a DJ with real talent who has put time and effort into this craft. Could you imagine judging a male dj on how he looks FIRST? No, right? But I digress...
2. Things We Won’t be Trying: Amazon Key

A couple days ago, Amazon announced a new service for its Amazon Prime Members! Here’s a quote from the website: Amazon Key is supposed to make it easy to “grant access to the people you trust, like your family, friends, dog walker, or house cleaner – no more leaving a key under the mat.” In addition to people you semi-trust, i.e., family, you can also grant access to random-constantly-changing-amazon delivery drivers. Hell to the naw!
First of all, it (Amazon Key) feels like an invasion of privacy! And I don’t see how this helps me as the consumer. If my package is stolen off my porch, it’s really Amazon who has the bear the cost of replacing it. This whole thing seems like their way of cutting replacement costs at my expense! No thanks, Amazon. Y’all not coming up thru here.
Not only is this a terrible idea for receiving packages, it’s also a dangerous idea for minorities. How easy would it be for someone to claim that a theft or even worse crime was committed because an amazon driver had access to their home. Especially in Trump’s America. Again, no thanks. Let’s move on.
3. Josie Rock x Burnin Hookah Lounge: Halloween Edition
Halloween is right around the corner! What are you going to dress up as? I’m stuck between a Minion and a Nerd.

Both Cardi & Nicki had nice verses. IMO, Nicki slayed that but I'm a Nicki Minaj fan girl!

Ummm! I’m not sure how excited I should be about this!
Lol! I got A LOT of camera time and I was really jammin’! But seriously, I had a great time and the entire event was for an awesome cause and I’m thankful for the chance to attend.
